Hollywood actor Rege-Jean Page has been hitting headlines after the Krypton casting controversy. Before that, Rege-Jean earned a lot of fame and became quite popular after featuring in the Netflix series Bridgerton. The actor won hearts worldwide with his stellar performance as Duke of Hastings in the series. He recently broke the hearts of many after announcing his exit from the series. Finally, Rege-Jean Page has reacted to the Krypton casting controversy. He made a cryptic tweet reacting to losing ‘Krypton’ role in the Superman series.

The Bridgerton star hinted at feeling hurt over losing the role and addressed the Krypton casting controversy. In his tweet on Twitter, Rege-Jean Page said, “Hearing about these conversations hurts no less now than it did back then.” While he explained how hearing about the conversations ‘hurts no less now’ than it did back then, the actor added that, “The clarifications almost hurt more.” He mentioned he is honest about it. Rege-Jean continued to mention that even after all this, he is still doing just his thing. Page added that he will continue to do the work and “still fly.”

As soon as Rege-Jean Page made the tweet, responding to it, Cameron Cuffe, who played the role of Seg-El on Krypton tweeted, “Regé is an inspiration to me and thousands of other artists. No one should feel okay benefiting from individuals or institutions that treat their fellow humans so unjustly. Change must happen." For the unversed, Rege-Jean’s cryptic tweet comes after recent reports about the Krypton casting controversy. According to a report in the Hollywood Reporter, DC Comics executive Geoff Johns denied the role of Krypton to Rege-Jean Page due to his race. The report stated that Johns claimed that Superman could not have a Black grandfather. Meanwhile, reports of Page’s casting controversy came into the light after actor Ray Fisher made revelations about his experience on DC’s Justice League.
